The defending champions won their first victory of the season over the SBS, who is still struggling to achieve their first win of the season. Saldio Amador lead the Toros to a 5-1 victory scoring 2 goals and 2 assists.
The Toros started their fast and aggressive offensive plays which gave a hard time for the SBS defense to keep up. Luis Manila quickly scored his first goal of the season with just 2 minutes went by in the match. After within 2 minutes, Amador forced the SBS to commit an own goal at 3:12.
SBS Nathan Nogales scored a goal cutting the lead to one at 8:21 in the first half. However, after twenty seconds, Amador delivered a great forward pass to Sweet Baz who finishes the Toros' third goal.
With the Toros leading by 2 at the beginning of the second half, Amador promptly scored his second goal after 20 seconds passed. As Manila opened the match with a goal, he then scored the finishing goal from another good feed from Amador at 17:17.
With seconds left at the match, Nogales committed a lying play violation giving the Toros a penalty shot. But Amador missed the penalty shot which could have completed a hat-trick.
The Los Toros gave an impressive performance despite the absence of their other key players, Paolo Rentero and Myk Villanueva. The Toros will face the Fighting Macaroons next Saturday, November 26, at 11:30am. On the other hand, the SBS are still looking forward to capture their first win this season against the Angry Birds next week at 12:30pm.
