By UP Floorball Club

Christof Sun's remarkable performance during his debut match for the AIA Lions yesterday, helped to win over the Fighting Macaroons 4-1

The senior CSWCD player, Christof Sun, made 1 goal and an assist to help the AIA Lions have a commanding lead over the Fighting Macaroons. Sun scored an unassisted goal at 2:15 of the first half. With seconds left in the opening half, Rookie Marco Ortiz made a swift one-timer goal from a pass by Jay Futalan.

The Fighting Macaroons tried their best to get past the AIA defense lead by their goalie, Diony Hipolito, who saved 17 shots on goal. The Lions kept on running their offensive passing plays at the start of the second half allowing Ralph Ramos to finish their third goal, with an assist from Sun.

The Lions, still unsatisfied, scored another goal by Futalan, who netted the ball in with a one-handed shot. The Fighting Macs still fought hard until the end of the game, rewarding them a breakaway goal by Jeffrey Castro at 8:59 of the second half.

With the Lions' consistent performance, they are optimistic in their next match against the Goal Diggers on November 26, Saturday, at 12pm. On the other hand, The Fighting Macaroons will face the defending champions, Los Toros, at 11:30am.
