Ralph Ramos took control of the Superfly’s offense, scoring all 4 of the team’s goals to defeat Sixxy, 4-2.
Ramos his strong performance started with a shot from half-court that sped past Sixxy keeper Eric Gelido at 2:49.
Sixxy’s attempts to tie the game early on looked to have been put on hold as Florante Magboo was sent off the court with a hand ball violation, but Caez Idul tied up the game while short-handed with a shot at point-blank at the 5:25 mark as Superfly keeper Nathan Nogales failed to control the ball following a save. But Ramos scored at 6:07, taking advantage of a bad pass by the Sixxy defense as Magboo was still off the court, and again at 7:26, taking a pass from Bryan Bautista to complete a hat-trick.
Down by two, Sixxy fought on, keeping the game close as Idul scored her second goal with a wrap around at 8:30. But a lineup change in the 2nd half left Sixxy scoreless as Nogales moved to defender, adding experience to an already solid line, While Bautista managed 4 saves to match Nogales’ 1st half total. Ramos scored his fourth goal at 15:19 from an assist by Joco Navarro to put the game out of reach.
While the Superfly keepers played a half each under the goal, Sixxy’s Eric Gelido played the whole 20, totalling 4 saves.
